About Amanda Holmes
My friends were surprised when I began to study hypnotherapy. They wanted to know why I was getting involved in something so “alternative”. Perhaps this was to be expected because they know me as a highly trained and sceptical scientist who always asks “where’s the evidence?” before she will believe anything.
My answer was simple. I knew people who had, with the help of hypnotherapists, finally achieved their goals. They’d stopped smoking, overcome lifelong fears or found relief from the embarrassing problem of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I knew hypnotherapy works, and I knew I wanted to be able to use it to help people. Since graduating from the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School in Bristol I have helped many others to achieve the changes they needed in order to enjoy life more fully, and I look forward to being able to do the same for you.
